Gregg Atlas

Friday Jan 25 2019

This Firefighter Hero WOD is dedicated to Gregg Atlas, FDNY (New York, NY), Engine 10, who was killed on September 11, 2001.

Lt. Gregg Atlas, 44, had three brothers who were firefighters. He had joined the FDNY 20 years earlier and was assigned to Engine Co. 10 after making Lieutenant in 1994. He wasn't ready to retire because “he’d miss all the guys.”

I'm doing 145 lbs. Seems like the optimal balance of weight and reps

185lbs is where it’s at

10,000 is not divisible by 185, so you'll actually end up with more than 10,000 lb cumulative back squats

I originally read this as "10,000 Cumulative Back Squats"

I missed the "lb" part. You can imagine the panic that immediately set in.
