WHO ARE YOU?
My name is Jennie Campshure, married to my Crossfitting husband, Zach Campshure, for 7 ½ years. I am a loan processor for Cornerstone Mortgage. I enjoy camping and kayaking.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO CROSSFIT GREEN BAY?
A friend of mine was a member at CFGB and asked me to join her for a free Saturday class. This was the summer of 2011. I then found out my cousin Jessica and her husband Steve were also members at CFGB. After a few Saturday classes I decided to go for it all and joined On Ramp in October 2011.

WHAT WAS YOUR STATE OF HEALTH BEFORE BEGINNING CROSSFIT?
The summer of 2011 I was pushing 200 pounds, which is the heaviest I have been. That is why I decided to join my friend for that free Saturday class. I had to find something to help me get my weight and health in check! I had tried so many gym memberships, trainers and fad diets – nothing was working, so maybe this was it? I am happy to say it WAS!

WHERE ARE YOU NOW  OR WHAT PROGRESS HAVE YOU MADE?
It has been 3 ½ years since I joined CFGB and my health has improved drastically.  Not only did I lose 45+ pounds, I now make healthier decisions in all aspects of my life. I am able to do things I never thought were possible!

HOW WAS YOUR ON RAMP EXPERIENCE?
My On Ramp experience was great! I liked the special attention to the details that we worked on each class, it helped me feel comfortable and understand each and every movement.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO JOIN THE REGULAR CLASSES?
It was a difficult change for me, I had a lot of anxiety going in. I was worried about forgetting how to do certain movements and not being able to finish the workouts in time, along with a lot of other fears.  After my first week of real classes the fears and anxiety went away. The members made me feel welcome and helped me with the movements that I was struggling with.

WHAT IN YOUR MIND MAKES CROSSFIT UNIQUE?  WHY WERE YOU SUCCESSFUL WITH CROSSFIT?
CrossFit tests your physical and mental strengths, with a variety of movements. I am successful with CrossFit because when I walk through that door the workout of the day is always something different and a new challenge for myself. When we redo some of the bench mark workouts I find it so rewarding being able to go back to my log of workouts and compare my times to see how much better I did!

WHAT SETS CROSSFIT GREEN BAY APART?
By far #1 is the coaching staff!  Very personable and the attention to detail is awesome!  #2 the members – everyone is awesome, everyone makes you feel so comfortable and wanting to come back!

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THOSE WHO FEEL LIKE THEY’RE NOT IN GOOD ENOUGH SHAPE TO TRY CROSSFIT?
There is no need to “be in shape” to start CrossFit. The best way to get ready for CrossFit is to start doing CrossFit. Take that step and sign up for On Ramp – you won’t be disappointed!

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS GOING FORWARD?
My goals for the future are to continue my healthy path with CFGB and to continue reaching the goals I set for myself, and getting some new PRs on my lifts!

FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE CROSSFIT EXERCISE?
My favorite movements are the power clean and double unders – (now that I can finally do them!)
Least favorite would be pull-ups and toes to bar – both of these movements are a work in progress for me, someday I am sure I will love them!
